This was the first vehicle I saw and test drove during my search, and I liked it. I made an offer about a week later, but was asked to put down a $1,500 holding fee, which I wasn’t comfortable with. There was minimal follow-up from the dealership, and when I tried to complete the purchase online, the price didn’t match what I had been quoted. It didn’t feel like there was much effort to actually move forward with the sale, so I decided to continue shopping elsewhere.

I made an inquiry about the jeep wrangler and Grace got back with me the next day . I asked some specific questions about the jeep on Monday and she had Mitchell contact me to get those questions answered. The next day Tuesday I put in an offer by email to Mitchell to purchase the jeep @10:40 am. I didn’t hear back from him until 2:50 pm. At that time he asked if I was willing to put $500 down to hold the jeep. I emailed him back at 4:01 pm saying, yes I was willing to make a down payment to hold the jeep. I thought at this time we were good to go ahead with the purchase. But at 5:40 pm he emailed me back to say one of his colleagues just sold the jeep. I was confused because I thought we were working a deal but apparently not. At least I hadn’t traveled the 2 plus hours to be told it was sold.

Lane was very helpful and easy to work with. Experienced some frustration when it came yo financing. Told if x down with income, would be good then the downpayment number kept changing as well as trying to sell other cars vs what I went to look at.
