bait and switch operation. they did not want to honor the listed price. They put all sorts of conditions to get to that price and even when I did met all of them they greatly undercut my trade, fudged the numbers to the point where a worksheet showed 41k price with 11k for my trade and the out the door still being 40K. bait and switch

I was ready to buy the car and made an offer but when they sent the proposal to me it was $1,000 higher than advertised price on Car Guru and $2,000 higher than my offer. I told them about it and instead of honoring the Car Guru price they blamed it on Car Guru being an independent site they have no control over, I told them to forget it I was no longer interested in the car and he said hold on I was jumping the gun and like magic the manager agreed to my original offer. I would have bought the car for the advertised price had they honored it and not blamed Car Guru. I'm sure the goal was to blame Car Guru and then "meet me in the middle" so they could get the advertised price and make it look like they were doing the "right" thing but I shut it down too soon to play all their games. I would stay away and the owners need a hard look at their sales manager tactics. The Car Guru add still has it as the same price of $1,000 lower than what they say it is.
