The truck was listed on CarGurus as black, but after driving 1.5 hours to the dealership and arriving with a check ready to buy, I found out it was actually gray. That was disappointing from the start. Within the first 30 minutes of driving it home, I got a check engine light, Stabilitrak warning, and “Transmission Hot, Idle Engine” message. I later found out the torque converter was broken and ended up with about $3,500 in transmission repairs. The dealer only paid part and refused to take the truck back because it was sold as is. I also found out there were 2 years of back taxes totaling $371, and the story changed about how long they had actually had the truck. I was first told they had only recently gotten it and it had been there about a week. Later they tried to say it had been there much longer. Very expensive mistake. I would be extremely cautious.
