I came to see this 2015 Yukon XL after finding it on CarGurus. The photos were misleading and didn’t show several major issues. In person, I found a cracked windshield, a hole in the tailgate, rusted-out rockers, tarnished rims, and a rust spot on the passenger-side front fender near the bottom — none of which were visible or mentioned in the listing. I drove two hours expecting a clean vehicle and was extremely disappointed. The Yukon had 231,000 miles, and they quoted me $9,100 out the door. I offered $8,700 cash, but they refused to negotiate. The salesperson showed me a KBB value of $14,000 to justify the price — but I immediately noticed it was a private party value, not a dealer retail value, and based on a vehicle in far better condition. I knew what he was doing and tried to counter with fair questions and real numbers, but he wouldn’t engage.
