Carfax reported one accident to the undercarriage and that it was repaired. There was no other information available! Could have been a bent frame, or damage to control arms, tie rods, struts, shocks, axles, differential, oil pan, drive shaft, muffler, catalytic converter, or any other undercarriage components. The price was discounted fir mileage, but without a comprehensive damage and repair report I felt the purchase involved too much risk. Could have spent $200 for an independent pre-purchase inspection but they won’t estimate any future problems or quality and longevity of the repair(s). Had to take a hard pass.
