I drove an 1 hr just to be told it was sold at the dealership even though we talked on the phone

When I asked what the $4000 refurbish charge over and above the advertised price paid for I got no answer instead I got a number of requests to call or come by the dealership. I seems to me like they want to charge an extra $4000 to detail the vehicle. That's pretty deceptive if you ask me, I wouldn't waste my time trying to negotiate or getting an explanation for the extra charge. Nissan of Cape Coral mistakenly believe they are the only dealer in town. I got a nearly identical truck for $6,000 less, delivered and no $4000 detail fee from across the state. I guess they don't appreciate the year round customer base at Cape Coral Nissan.

Mike (the owner) and Scott (sales manager) were very helpful through out the entire process. I purchased this car sight unseen and Mike was very responsive to any question I had about the car. Used car salesmen typically don’t tell the entire truth sometimes, but I found Mike and Scott to be very open and honest during the entire process. The last car that I purchased sight unseen was from Always 123 in Fort Lauderdale which had a tremendous amount of mechanical issues which they should have disclosed. Heck, they didn’t even know the difference between Drive and Over Drive which was prevalent in many of the earlier made cars. Sorry for the tangent. But all that to say I ended up spending about $8k to repair that car so it was drivable. All that being said, I had a very different experience with Mike and Scott and would highly recommend them. It was one of our best car buying experiences. Linda (owner) was very friendly from the beginning to end. She was transparent about her pricing structure and her knowledge about the vehicle. The staff was helpful and was able to answer our questions. The communication was perfect and not pushy. Would highly recommend!!
