The Volvo App requires both key fobs to work, which the model didn't have. I was told that was incorrect, but once Volvo was contacted they walked that back. Then I was told the car was sold as is, without the second key, and I'd have to pay for a second one. Who sells a car that they know doesn't work, or wants to charge you to get it working? Very telling. These kinds of things are why "used car salesman' is used in a derogatory manner.

I went through the bells and whistles, made a date to have the car delivered, and was told I needed a down payment, which I had, then I was told I needed a cosigner. So, I was not able to get the Jeep. If I were aware of this in the beginning, I wouldn't have gone as far as I did to try and buy a vehicle. But the guy Andy I talked to was very nice and walked me through the what and why.

Simply check out their BBB rating, that will answer all your questions. For me, I received a call promising "top dollar and more" for my trade. I drove the 75 minutes down to see their NEW SUV after I filled out THEIR online financing forms and got a price, APR (815 credit) and term I liked as well as a $22000 trade in for my car - through their site. KBB had it at 22500, but I was fine with a bit less. When we got to talking finance, I already had all their paperwork but they came back with an offer of $13000 for my car (KBB and THEIR site had it worth $22500!!), that's almost $10,000 less than advertised for my car's value. Their response, "Well our NEW SUV is heavily discounted on price." Yep, their price was discounted $9000 after all rebates, they expected ME to basically pay for their "discount" by the crappy offer on my low mileage, 3 year old car??? Scam artists all around. As usual, they added on thousands of dollar's worth of wax and theft protection scam products.

Alex and Isaac were very helpful throughout the process of purchasing the Forester. We were excited that the Forester was exactly as described, and the dealership itself was stocked with coffee and comfortable amenities. The only downside was the time spent in the dealership itself waiting a bit for financing to have everything in order. I really enjoy the Forester!
