Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota had the exact car I wanted. I was ready to buy and had an approved draft from a very reputable credit union in the area with a rate of 5.5%, The Manager even stated that the he had used the credit union for financing in the past. However, Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota wouldn't take the approved draft because it was from a credit union. They offered a slightly discounted price and a rate of 7.1 %. I left and didn't buy the car. Because I really liked the car, the next day I found a way to personally finance the Vehicle figuring that I can refinance the vehicle within a week. I just left the DMV for the second time in a week. The DMV told me that it may take up to 6 months or longer to release the title and refinance because of errors the dealer make in submitting and resubmitting the title paper work.
