Received a call right after sending the message through your system, and the salesperson just told me I couldn't test drive it as the car had just arrived 3 days ago, and the car was pending their 50-point mechanical check to see if it would actually be sold by the dealer or sent to auction subsequently she also said I could give $1000 deposit toward the car if I would like to reserve it at that point (Not having even seen or driven the car!). I asked her to call me back as soon as the car finished their mechanical check so I can go see it and test drive it. She called me a week later to tell me someone had paid the $1000 deposit and the car is no longer available. What is the purpose of such a call at that point? Why didn't she call me when the car finsihed the mechanical check as requested so I can test drive it? I am disappointed a Lexus dealer has sales personnel with so low end tactics. Sounds like a training is needed on how to handle used car sales or a bad reputation is next.
