I do not recommend this dealership. The day I went to this dealership, everything was fine. The staff was nice and helpful. They were a little pushy, but that is expected on car sales. When we were discussing the purchase of the car, I asked about certification of the vehicle. The salesman said we can definitely take care of that. Also, after the first offer that they came to us with, they would either not write it down or write it on another paper. When we left that night without purchasing the vehicle, I noticed them ripping up a paper and throwing it away. We had agreed to talk again the next day to discuss other options for the purchase. The next day when we were able to connect with the salesperson and the sales manager, they both denied everything that we had talked about the night before. And said that would not certify the vehicle even though I told them that certification was a deal breaker. I did not appreciate that at all!!

I live nearly 300 miles away from Mesquite Texas. I was able to contact Jackie by text and got several questions answered. We agreed on the price of the Ram Longhorn and my trade. I asked for a dealers worksheet explaining the details of the deal. Worked out all financing questions I had answered by text. I was skeptical but chose to make the drive to finalize the deal. When I arrived everything was exactly as was on the dealer sheet. I was in and out with my new truck in a couple of hours. I’m a happy customer and recommend this dealership to anyone.

i drove 4 hours to look at a vehicle, i was in communication with the salesman for days. sold the car 10 minutes before i got there. after i made an appointment to look at the vehicle because of how far i was driving

The vehicle I had an appointment to test drive was not ready for customers. The seat was wet, and the engine rattled something fierce. The salesman had zero knowledge of the vehicle even when I had made the appointment days prior. I completely wasted my time. The salesman was worthless, and when I called back to speak with the sales manager, he quickly offered me $1,000. off a different vehicle. I didn't feel like their explanation was appropriate. I really don't know what it was. But I was very unimpressed with their business skills. For such a huge car dealership as Clay Cooley, you would think they had some organizational communication standards. However, that is absolutely not the case. I will never come back to Clay Cooley—and will recommend that everyone I know do the exact same.

Very nice place with very nice people. Drove 3 hours to get this vehicle and it looked just as good as it was pictured and described!
