I really liked working with Andrew the salesman. He was super transparent and let me know all the dealership ins and outs as far as pricing and packages. I expected that there would be add-ons and he was able to get those taken off. As expected, the trade value, I initially was given was extremely low, but the manager was willing to work with me and give me what I wanted. Seemed like everything was going be a breeze after, but I was quite surprised at the way, finance continued to try to get more money out of the deal by adding bumper-to-bumper warranties, doubling tax and trying to slide in interest rate details. I caught them at their game as I’ve sold hundreds of cars myself and know dealership antics very well. I don’t blame them for trying to make money, but the finance representative did try to hustle me. A dealership makes money from their sale price, their add ons, low trade values, interest rates, and warranties. I ended up giving up another $1700 for a lower interest rate.
