The old switcheroo. The salesperson gave me a story about the truck did not pass an inspection and had a check engine light on it. The salesperson should have told me this before I left my house to test drive the truck. I think it is highly questionable if the truck was actually being sold though I saw a truck similar to the truck I came to test drive on display in front of the car lot. The salesperson tried to get me to look at another truck but it wasnÂÂthe truck I came for this is why I think he did the switcheroo on me.

Drove 2.5hrs to see this car on a Friday. Agreed to their asking terms on a different car that they said needed a state inspection to be done on Monday. Located a trailer to haul it home with on Saturday and Sunday. Called Monday morning to arrange for pickup. It is now Thurday and the car is still there because they gave someone else first right of refusal AFTER I agreed to buy it. His money promise must be worth more than my real money and their word is worth nothing.

Platinum Auto Group called me one time. I returned their call that evening and I never heard anything back from them. I called them several days in a row to just get their voicemail. When I finally did get someone to answer the phone the pickup I was interested in had already sold. When I asked them if they had anything else there on the lot like it, the gentlemen that I was talking to promptly said to check their inventory on the web. It seemed to me that he couldn't get me off the phone quick enough.
