Responded promptly car was sold before we could make a deal

We negotiated a price over the phone, and I came in for a test drive. I planned to buy the car, but they sold it while I was actively on the test drive. After talking to several other dealerships, this is not the standard. However, the manager defended the choice, didn’t apologize, and said “cars are available until they are not.” It was a big waste of time.

This particular truck has an aftermarket exhaust and air intake system. This was not communicated in the ad. Test. Drove the truck, told them I like the truck but preferred everything to be stock. They inform me that I would have to pay to have the stock equipment put back on. The truck also said it was in one accident, someone's supposed to get back to me with the information about that. No one ever did to this day..

Great communication until car was no longer available. I found out via CarGuru vs Dealer. Unprofessional didn’t even offer alternative.

Salesman was a typical car salesman A jerk. Finished the detal with the general manager Mike. Otherwise probably would not have finished the deal

Made appointment to test drive a '24 used vehicle, received multiple dealer confirmations of appointment for w/this vehicle, including day of. Arrived at dealership, salesperson greeted me, & said "Bad news. The vehicle you asked about sold last night" ...then went on about "it's a popular model" etc. Meanwhile, I'm wondering, why not call me & let me know Before I drove here?! Plus that sinking feeling of a looming bait & switch operation happening. Salesperson then offered different, year older vehicle- a '23, wait for it...at almost Exact same price point as the newer '24 model I'd originally asked about. I still test drove '23 model because my time was already wasted driving to & from the dealership. We walked out to the '23 & immediately upon opening the door, stale cigarrette smoke smell poured out. It was so strong it made me nauseous, and after approx 20 min test drive, smoke smell saturated my clothes & hair, reeking. I had to wash everything once home. Disappointing :/

I worked with Allan, who was available for any and all questions I had. If he didn’t know the answer, he was upfront and went to ask someone who would know rather than making up an answer. He had the vehicle up front and ready for me to test drive and was understanding when I had to run to the bank multiple times. He brought the vehicle to get detailed, put the plates on, and filled the tank before I left. Even offered to help me connect my phone to the cars infotainment. 10/10 highly recommend, I felt no pressure to purchase before, during, or after my test drive.

I took the day off to buy a car. I did my research and knew this rav had been at the dealership for over 2 months so there should be wiggle room to make a deal. Wrong, I got there as they opened and met Derek, he let me take it for a drive. There was a check engine light on ( shouldn't they have been fixed after 2 months?) I came back and was told they are going to fix that light. Started to TRY to make a deal, offered a 1000 less then asking price and Derek came back and said no, we got to much into the vehicle to discount it. There was no counter offer, like we could take 500 off, no manager came over to counter or even thank me for coming in. I thanked Derek, left and took my money and impeccable credit to the next dealership on my list. I was treated beautifully. I bought my vehicle there and picked up yesterday. I'm 61 and have bought many vehicles in my life, sadly the experience at Saratoga Honda was not positive & Derek did not even try to follow up OR recommend another option
