I inquired about a jeep on car gurus and within ten minutes I received a text message from someone at the dealership. This man set an appointment with me over the phone and even offered to come in on his day off to show my the jeep on a Sunday. Customer service like that is hard to find these days. Thanks for the help

The process and interactions felt disingenuous. I received the confirmation email from CarGurus on a Friday afternoon, followed by a text message from the Priority Dealership salesman, Steven, later that evening. The text included a picture of Steven holding a set of keys while standing in front of the prospective car, saying, “yes, it’s available.” Saturday morning, I ask Steven for the CarFax and we agree that I’ll be on site in 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival, I asked for Steven, but he was unavailable and the car that I came to purchase “had just been sold”. I spent the next hour a so with a manager and a salesman offering me vehicles that did not meet my needs, which had been relayed repeatedly. As I’m walking out of the building doors, Steven wants to shake my hand and offer excuses. A few days later, he followed up with more apologies and offered to try to find me another vehicle. Nothing that he offered met my requirements; it was as though he wasn’t even listening. Ugh!!!

Based on my initial pre-qualification, I was not going to make a down payment, Venture informed me that a $1000 down payment was required which was more than 25% down, so based on that i did not proceed

I live 80 plus miles away from the dealership, did not get the response I wanted so I did not go to the dealership. I was willing to put $5,000 down on the Lincoln but they still wanted me to finance about $3, 800 plus dollars. they was asking 6 9 90 for the vehicle. with that said I am willing to give them $6,000 cash for that vehicle and nothing more.
