I would not do business with this dealer. The price they advertise on Cargurus is far lower than what they will sell the car for. After they added "dealer options", that were actually not optional because they won't sell you the car without them, and a bunch of made up "fees and taxes" that totaled 20% of the advertised price, the $22,000 car I wanted to buy was $34,000 and their attitude was "sorry that's the price". It is absolutely false advertising!

When I asked what the $4000 refurbish charge over and above the advertised price paid for I got no answer instead I got a number of requests to call or come by the dealership. I seems to me like they want to charge an extra $4000 to detail the vehicle. That's pretty deceptive if you ask me, I wouldn't waste my time trying to negotiate or getting an explanation for the extra charge. Nissan of Cape Coral mistakenly believe they are the only dealer in town. I got a nearly identical truck for $6,000 less, delivered and no $4000 detail fee from across the state. I guess they don't appreciate the year round customer base at Cape Coral Nissan.

After a multitude of contact attempts, including missing a call from them and with 4 immediate callback attempts, no answer, I still had to wait a couple days to finally intercept their call. Their dealer fees are astronomical, so I tried to gain insight on why once I finally could talk to someone. $1,000 Doc Fee on top of electronic filing fee??! LoJack anti theft device fee of $700 CANNOT be opted out of. I asked if the device had been installed, they said no but they install them on all of their vehicles. I even asked if I were to sign papers on the car right now and didn’t want the device if they’d take the fee off, they said no. Thankfully for CarGurus, I was able to see the breakdown of their fees, since they didn’t provide them to me directly. Disappointed, but another dealer that wants to work for the customer will get my business.
