I was forced into the purchase of a 1k security system, that they could not remove from the car because they could not keep people from stealing their cars. I was told the security company would reach out to me with instructions on how to use the system, but that had not happened. The worst was the salesman. He told me there were two sets of keys to the car. As I was getting ready to drive off, I realized he only gave me one set. I asked him about it and he told me the person responsible for the keys was not in but they would send them to me in a day. So if I didn’t ask he wouldn’t have said anything. A week went by, nothing, so I reached out to the salesman, he said he was busy and “forgot” but would do it that day. Again no word so I reached back out and he said they could not find the other key and he let a manager know. Now the salesman is not responding and I’m on the hook for a couple hundred to get a spare key. There is more but you only get 1k characters.

We were notified the car was gone so we canceled our 2.5hr trip to go there. A salesman called and said he had two others that were he same and I asked mileage and he said one had less and the other had 3,000 more. So we drove the 2.5hrs and he said well it actually had 60,000 more miles and the “other” was not there but he didn’t call us because he wanted us to see the other one with 60,000 more miles that was even more expensive than the original we wanted to see and in a lower trim package. Then he didn’t want to spend any time with us once he found out I was not wanting a high mileage car and apologized for having us come down. His original excuse for not calling was that he still wanted us to see and drive the high mileage one and so we would buy the “one that was out with low mileage” when it came back. Seems it didn’t exist and he thought he was going to just get me to buy the high mileage car he had.

The salesman did a great job

The staff appeared unaware of their inventory. The original salesperson I spoke with confirmed the vehicle was available and stated he would generate the paperwork to allow me to start the purchase process. I waited all day for this and I did not receive anything. I called the next day and spoke with a different salesperson who told me that vehicle had sold several days before. The original salesperson called me a short time after that and informed me it sold immediately after I got off the phone with him the previous day. So I am left with believing either I was lied to or they just don’t know their inventory. Either way, my interaction with this dealership did not go well.

Salesperson sent a nice walkaround video and I made an appointment to see the truck. I called and spoke to Salesperson to get reassurance the vehicle did not have undisclosed issues and was assured it was great. I drove 90 minutes to dealer and as soon as I got in the truck it reeked of cigarette smoke. I said I cannot buy this and wish they would have told me this before I wasted three hours. Very unhelpful and stereotypical used car sales. Avoid!
