Forcing me to get the “ maintenance package” because the bank is charging them a big fee to give me the loan. How is that my problem? I didn’t even negotiate price. Later they text that I should go with a different dealer because the managers don’t want to do the deal since they are losing money. What a joke

Dealer contacted me promptly. Price they are asking for the used vehicle is unreasonable, however. You can literally purchase a brand new vehicle (same make/model/trim) for about $3k less thank what they want for a used one MY 2023 with about 200 miles on it.

Beware! Slimy used car sales person experience. After a week of communications, I booked a firm appointment to view and test drive the vehicle. When I arrived on time, another party was checking in for their appointment to view the same vehicle. My sales guy asked if I wanted coffee while I waited for the other party to test drive the vehicle and make a decision. I promptly left, disappointed to have made the hour-long trip to the dealership, waisting my time. Yes, anyone is entitled to purchase a vehicle. But, booking 2 test drive appointments at the same time is wholly unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. Communication is the backbone of a fair, pleasant and predictable sales process, and this dealership has a lot to learn about treating customers respectfully. VW Oakland not only lost a sale (the car is still available) but a potential customer and referral source for life. Do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere.

I bought the vehicle online and over the phone. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If anyone in my family is looking to purchase a New or Used vehicle I am going to recommend Cardinale Honda Of Oakland!

I reached out after finding a vehicle my family wanted to see and maybe purchase. I reached out made an appointment at 4:50pm for the next morning as the drive was an hour and a half away. Left early morning to make our appointment right when they open. Drove me and my family all the way there for them to tell me that they sold the car right after I made the appointment. They didn't even call to say they sold the car. Stay away. They bait and switch.

I found the exact model and trim I was looking for at the right price through CarGurus. I really appreciated the dealer’s transparency throughout the process. Additionally, Anthony at Oakland Lexus made me feel comfortable with my inquiries, and the overall buying experience was outstanding.
