Caveat Emptor -- Buyer Beware I recently attempted to purchase a Ford Transit 350HD from this dealership as an out-of-state buyer. Unfortunately the experience turned into one of the most disorganized and frustrating vehicle purchase attempts I have encountered. This dealership advertises itself as a "family-owned business," which suggests a certain level of accountability and professionalism. That was not reflected in my experience. After identifying a specific Transit van listed online, I contacted the dealership and confirmed the advertised price. I spent several days working through the purchase process, provided documentation, and secured financing approval through my lender (Westlake Financial). At that point the deal should have been straightforward. Instead, the transaction steadily deteriorated. Three nearly identical Transit vans were involved and the dealership repeatedly confused VIN numbers during the process. Pricing changed multiple times after the initial quote. I

I set an appointment for 10am through there website and was sent 3 different confirmations confirming my appointment. I live an hour and a half away so it was very inconvenient to find out the dealership didn’t open until 11am. Romeo was helping me today and before I was even fully out of my car his only concern was the fact that I am 19 after I already told him my dad was co-signing and today was just for a test drive. He did not tell me anything about the car while I was trying to look at it, he was just breathing down my neck about the finances. He in no way shape or form tried to sell me this car he honestly didn’t seem to know much about the car. His only statement about the car was ‘it’s a 100k car’ and proceeded to add ‘people don’t like this car because it’s long’ I told him his salesmanship sucks. He was very rude and that was the only reason I didn’t even want to proceed with a test drive.

The dealer got back to me immediately, I was actually really surprised because 20 minutes after I sent the text he responded and answered all my questions. He was very helpful and it was a great experience all around.

This was the easiest purchase. Working with R.P. Auto Sales was a pleasant experience. The dealer had great communication during the whole process. I flew in from out of state to purchase this vehicle. When I arrived the dealer picked me up from the airport and had McDonald’s waiting for me. Very happy working with this company.

They both very polite and kind. I bought two cars one day. One had a little bit of an issue and they were good in handling the issue and that says a lot. I would deal with them both again
