 A real head turner, this was a beautiful piece of art. I loved taking the t-tops off and just cruising. The acceleration left a little to be desired (cross fire injection?) and the gas mileage was, of course, crap. But man, this car was so much fun it was worth it to me. I hated to sell it when I came to Europe...
Pros:
beautiful curves...
Cons:
not very practical unless you're young and single

I love the glass t-tops, the leather interior, the variety of the colors for the collector's edition. It's one cleek and sexy machine!
Pros:
It does not show dirt easily, runs really well.
Cons:
You need to be sure and keep leather conditioner on the seats and steering wheel cover. As it's an earlier model Vette you almost fall into the car to get in and getting out is sometimes a problem, but it's worth the extra effort! :-)

The car needs a lot of updating in the interior, there's a lot of squeaks and rattles. All of them are fixable. I already put in a new sound system in. At some point in the future there will be a better engine and transmission put in. The car is awesome like it is, but no car is ever too good for improvement.
Pros:
There is no car out there with better body lines than this!
Cons:
The engine is alright but really needs more power.

no..not a stingray...sorry those were over with a decade before the 82's came out. was bone stock except for an ecklers exhaust.

head turner. looked good. torquey
Cons:
doggy...not near enough power. way to heavy.

I've been restoring this for years and it is now red. I'm almost done but it's been a lot of work. It drives great but the engine is pretty loud (I'm not sure if that's good or bad). Overall it is very fun to drive.
Pros:
Very fun to drive.
Cons:
Paying for the super gas is expensive

This year came with the 350 LS82 stock engine and put out around 230 BHP. I switched the 350 out with the 454 behemoth

Good Handing car, nice curb appeal, Fast

Mine needs work but i like It. It has been sitting since 2000. I need a good mechanic in my area i think to look it over. speedometer broke guy told me he replced 2 times and everytime he went over 85 it would break,,,dont see any reason to fix lol. also noticed idle erratic and bangs hard in gear sometimes.

handles nice sounds nice
Cons:
chevy really screwed up on speedometer at 85
