The color isn't the greatest, it's a tan colored vehicle. The overall best thing about it has got to be the SPOILER :) in the back. Otherwise its fine in the exterior. The interior isn't too bad, there is a wood finish inside on the controls dash and I have a custom stereo inside. The speakers are surprisingly great. I got about 156,000 miles on it, quite much but it still runs well. Maintenance is strictly annual and very spread out- really if you just change the oil, put gas in, and wash it once in a while, it will work fine. I NEVER sent it in for any major problems except for a tire becoming loose but that is because of its overuse :D
Pros:
SPOILER :D, acceleration not that bad, overall really good feel and control.
Cons:
Color is a bit of a drag, and the wood finish isnt the coolest on the dash, but its minimal.

Love the car. Had it for nearly 4 years. Heaps of go for a 1600 20V Blacktop but thats good ol' 4age's for ya. 6 speed box is great and handles great with after market lowered springs. Sounds mean with a FGK stainless muffler

i love my little white hatchback corolla, i hate it how it has only two doors but it gets me from A to B, the inside of the car is as pink as it possibly can be! it also even has pink strips which i got put on the side.. thinking about getting some tints for it over summer

My friends was so surprised why i drive an old pa's car. everyone camn tell that is never my type of car. not shinny, nor the performance. kind of old in appearance. i drove for like one year and get rid of it finally.

Tough little car. Slow as hell though with the 3 speed auto. Also kinda makes it a bit of a pig on gas. All repairs done were normal wear and tear. Handling sucks, Breaks are ok. Sounds pretty good with the resonator removed and 2 inch pipe from the cat-back. With a Ractive performance muffler.

Reliability, for one, describes any model of Corollas - or Toyotas for that matter! These are basically 'no thrill no frill' kinda 'synthetic' - in day to day performance but it delivers! But its fun to drive, safe to drive and economical to drive!

It's alright but boring to drive, the stereo sucks a lot so if you want to have a good system then you need to add that yourself but it will keep running and doesn't need much mainetaince, the body style isn't that bad for a 97 so you can still be happy with it
