2005 Lincoln Navigator Luxury Summary
As the lowest-priced 2005 Lincoln Navigator, the Luxury 4x2 was certainly no slouch. Its list of standard features contained a fully independent suspension and an anti-skid system as well as a posh interior with leather seats and steering wheel and real-wood trim, adjustable foot pedals, power-adjustable seats with memory function, and auxiliary controls for the second row. One of its main selling points beyond basic luxury was its high capacity, as it came with a comfortable third-row seat that could be folded into the floor to increase cargo space.
Those who ordered this full-sized SUV new could have opted for a power sunroof, heated and cooled front-row seats, gas-discharged headlights, and chrome wheels. They could also have added mud guards and a towing prep package, which is a good idea on this very capable rig (the 4x2's towing max is 8,600 pounds).
All trims of the 2005 Navigator had a new 5.4-liter V8 and a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The new engine put out the same 300 horses as the previous incarnation, but its torque was increased by 10 lb.-ft.
