2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring AWD Summary
The Chrysler Pacifica lineup has been expanded considerably for 2005, now with seven models to choose from. Chrysler has added three trim levels: Touring, Limited, and the Signature Series. The Pacifica is built from the Town & Country platform, making it a one-of-a-kind crossover SUV.
All models except the FWD Base Pacifica are powered by a 3.5 liter 24-valve MPFI V-6, providing 250 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. A four-speed automatic is the only pacifica transmission option, but Chrysler's AutoStick manual shifter is included. The Pacifica will tow 3500 pounds when a special hitch is attached, and drivers can expect fuel economy around 20 mpg in mixed driving.
The Touring trim ascends above the Base with the addition of a standard navigation system, a ten-way power driver's seat, and Chrysler's hands-free "UConnect" communication system. All Pacficas include Chrysler's "Stow and Go" seating, offering 80 cubic feet of cargo capacity when the second and third rows are folded flat.
