2005 Chrysler Pacifica Signature Series Summary
The Chrysler Pacifica entered its second year of production in 2005, with several new variants to choose from. The 2004 two-model lineup had expanded to seven models this year, due to the addition of three new trim levels. The Pacifica was also now offered with Chrysler's Signature Series Package.
The Signature Series package is a special application to the Touring trim, which includes additional features like special badging, satellite radio, a premium Infinity sound system with a six-disc CD/DVD changer, leather seating, a navigation system, a rear seat DVD entertainment system, power front seats, heated seats in the first two rows, automatic headlamps, automatic dual-zone climate cotrol with rear-seat controls, two-tone interior trim, and an anti-theft system.
Six of the seven models, including this one, house a 3.5 liter 24-valve V-6, amted to a four-speed automatic transmission with Autostick. The V-6 engine provides 250 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, which allows for the towing of 3500 pounds.
All Pacificas also come equipped with "Stow N Go" seating, found in the Town & Country minivan. Second and third row seats can be folded flat into floor compartments, which creates a total of 80 cubic feet for cargo.
