2009 Ford Ranger Sport SuperCab 4Dr 4WD

The 2009 Ford Ranger Sport SuperCab 4Dr 4WD differs significantly from its SuperCab 4Dr sibling in the fact that it offers part-time, shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive (4WD). With standard skid plates, auto-locking hubs, a mechanical center differential, and especially the available 4.01 limited-slip rear differential, the ’09 Ranger Sport SuperCab uses its traditionally rugged chassis to take five passengers as far off-road as it’s possible to go.

The standard 4.0-liter V6 engine that’s packed into the ’09 Ranger Sport SuperCab 4Dr 4WD combines with the standard five-speed manual transmission to pound out 207 hp and 238 lb-ft of torque, and can tote 1,180 pounds of payload. All other standard features and options for the ’09 Ranger Sport SuperCab 4Dr 4WD reflect the rest of the ’09 Sport trims.
