2009 Honda Ridgeline RT

As the entry-level Ridgeline trim, the 2009 Honda Ridgeline RT comes equipped with such standard features as air conditioning with air filtration, steering-wheel-mounted cruise control, power windows and door locks, and a power-sliding rear cabin window. The driver's seat features six-way manual adjustment, and a 100-watt, six-speaker audio system includes a CD player and MP3 playback capability.

The driver and passengers can store gear in the multifunction center storage console with sliding armrest, as well as in the passenger-side storage bins, door-pocket storage bins, and seatback pockets. In addition, the 60/40-split rear seat lifts up for under-seat storage. Outside, The Ridgeline RT comes equipped with a dual-action tailgate, folding power side mirrors, a Class III trailer hitch, and heavy-duty tow hooks in the front and rear.

A 3.5-liter, single-overhead-cam VTEC V6 engine delivering 250 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque powers the Ridgeline RT. With all that horsepower and torque, the Ridgeline RT can tow up to 5,000 pounds. A heavy-duty radiator and heavy-duty transmission cooler aid during prolonged towing. The engine links to a five-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the Ridgeline RT features a Variable Torque Management four-wheel-drive system and a locking rear differential. Safety features include antilock brakes, electronic brake distribution, and Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control, as well as side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor.
