Flexing a little more muscle than the base Charger SE, the lower mid-level 2009 Dodge Charger SXT is a rear-wheel-drive five-passenger sedan featuring a standard 3.5-liter SOHC V6 engine and four-speed automatic that put out 250 hp at 6,400 rpm and 250 lb-ft of torque at 3,800 rpm. The EPA estimates 17/25 mpg for the ’09 Charger SXT.
Standard additional features for the ’09 Charger SXT include an eight-way power driver’s seat, a split-folding rear bench seat, and satellite radio, while standard safety features include four-wheel disc ABS, stability and traction control, and front fog/driving lights. The more comprehensive options with the ’09 Charger SXT trim include a power sunroof, leather, and a Quick Order Package featuring 18-inch aluminum wheels, a 276-watt audio system with six Boston Acoustics speakers, dual-zone climate control, and auto on/off headlights.
