2009 Nissan Rogue S AWD

Nissan's intuitive all-wheel-drive system, included as standard equipment on the 2009 Rogue S AWD, senses the difference between various road conditions, such as on-road or off-road surfaces, and responds automatically by sending the appropriate amount of power to the front or rear wheels to ensure optimal traction and stability. Standard features for the '09 Rogue S AWD also include traction control and Nissan's Vehicle Dynamic Control, which is the automaker's version of electronic stability control. A 2.5-liter, double-overhead-cam inline four-cylinder engine, producing 170 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque, drives the Nissan Rogue S AWD. The engine links to an intelligent Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission), which provides smooth acceleration. Fuel economy numbers check in at 22/27 mpg.

Standard exterior features for the '09 Rogue S AWD include power mirrors and UV-reducing solar glass. Inside, the Rogue S AWD comes equipped with such standard features as four-way manual-adjustable front seats, cruise control, remote keyless entry, air conditioning with a microfilter, power windows and door locks, and a four-speaker AM/FM audio system with a CD player and MP3 input jack. The Rogue S AWD provides plenty of storage spaces and flexibility, thanks to 60/40-split rear seats, a segmented center console with cup holders, an oversize glovebox with partitions, and underfloor storage in the rear cargo bay. Safety features include roof-mounted side-curtain airbags. The '09 Rogue S AWD rides on 16-inch steel wheels with all-season tires.
