2009 Acura TSX 6-spd

The 2009 Acura TSX 6-spd adds a smooth-shifting 6-speed manual to the 2.4-liter DOHC inline-four engine, boosting torque to 172 ft-lbs at 4,400 RPM in this front-wheel-drive sports sedan. Horsepower remains at 201, with fuel economy actually decreasing to 20/28 mpg. The sedan seats four, with 60/40 split-folding rear seats that open onto a 12.6-cubic-foot trunk. A fold-down armrest holds more storage options. A more-rigid chassis, wider stance, and refinements to the double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension are aimed at enhancing the sporty feel of the TSX 6-spd.

Not yet tested for safety, the 2009 TSX 6-spd comes fully packed to keep your family protected. Traction and stability control, as well as 17-inch wheels with all-season tires, keep a grip on the road. 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes feature electronic brakeforce distribution. Dual front-side airbags have passenger deactivation, and there are side curtain airbags for both rows. Rounding out the safety profile are automatic xenon headlamps, daytime running lights, foglights, mirrors with turn signals, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a tire monitor.

Not content with only power windows, locks, and heated mirrors, the TSX 6-spd provides 8-way and 4-way power front seats with driver's memory settings, a power sunroof, remote entry, a garage opener, a trip computer, and wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls for the CD/MP3 player. An MP3 jack allows you to attach an iPod, and a satellite radio trial is also included. Tilt and telescopic steering, side mirrors that reverse-tilt, intermittent wipers, a tachometer, a temperature display and compass, and two front power outlets provide extra convenience. Luxury comes with the dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, leather upholstery and trim, and alloy accents.
