The Navigator trim level known as the Premium 4x2 certainly does offer a premium list of features. In addition to the highlighted standard equipment found on the base model (leather, power-adjustable seats and pedals, and , the Premium adds heated and cooled front seats, high-intensity discharge headlamps, stability control, and traction control.
The same engine is found in all 2003 Navigators, and that is a 5.4-liter, 300-horsepower V8. This gives the 4x2 â??Gator more power than the two-wheel-drive trim of its rival Escalade, although the Cadillac could claim better fuel economy.
Options that were made available on the Premium Navigator that were not offered on the base model are a sunroof, a navigation system, and upgraded chrome wheels. In addition to the expected complaints of poor mileage, wners of this particular Navigator have reported some electrical problems.
