2007 Lincoln Town Car Signature Summary

The base-model Town Car is sure no cheapie, coming in low in the 40s even when stripped of options. It's the lowest-priced trim of a luxury model, and that means it still has plenty of plush standard equipment.
Depending on where you live, your new Town Car Signature will have under its hood a 239-horsepower, 4.6-liter SOHC that burns either straight-up gasoline (in California, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, and Vermont) or the same size flexible-fuel engine (all other states). Pair that with the 4-speed automatic tranny with overdrive and you'll get about 17 city miles and 25 highway miles to the gallon.
The rear-wheel drive luxury barge comes standard with all-speed traction control and numerous other important safety features: power four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, dual-stage front air bags with crash-severity sensors, front-side air bags, three-point seat belts with pretensioners, and side-door beams. The Town Car has earned 5 stars in the NHTSA's frontal crash tests for the seventh consecutive year.
To increase your security there's a perimeter alarm system, keyless entry with a driver's door-mounted entry keypad, and an anti-lockout system. Child-safe locks are a must when the grandchildren are along for the ride.
Speaking of that ride, it's a mighty comfortable one, as this car is built for exactly that. The leather seats (sorry, but seat-heaters are not available on this trim) are supportive and roomy, and a load-leveling air springs and stabilizer bar add to the soft ride. The driver gets to enjoy a leather-wrapped steering wheel with controls for audio and climate-control mounted on it.
The front armrest folds away and has an integrated storage area; the glove box is lockable as well as illuminated. The massive trunk gives you 21 cubic feet of cargo room, and its lid closes easily thanks to the power pull-down feature.
Options available on the Signature trim consist of an upgraded audio system, two-tone paint, all-season whitewalls, and high-intensity discharge headlights.
