[Edit] This new model Camry will commence the mid-size sedan' s sixth generation. For 2007, exterior styling is freshened and interior space increases. The upgrade from the CE to the LE trim will add more standard features and options availability. Chrome-tipped dual exhaust, chrome interior accents, keyless entry, and a power driver's seat are added as standard equipment. Options now include a JBL audio system with a six-disc in dash CD changer, Bluetooth, moon roof package, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a compass.
The Camry LE is available with both power plant options. The 2.4 liter DOHC inline four is aided by Variable Valve Timing + intelligence technology. This TRD creation increases horsepower, improves fuel efficiency, and lowers emissions. The engine will generate 158 horsepower and 161 pound feet of torque. All Camrys earn a low emissions rating thanks to VVT-i.
Toyota has also improved the Camry's handling capabilities, rethinking the spring rates and suspension settings to provide a more responsive feel. The overall ride quality remains as balanced as before. A long list of standard safety features includes seven airbags (with full length side curtains), Brake Assist, Stability Control, and electronic Brakeforce Distribution. Toyota's Vehicle Stability Control/traction control system is optional.
