Chrysler's Sebring sedan is unchanged for the 2006 model year, but a fourth trim level has been introduced. The Limited is no longer the top shelf Sebring, due to the arrival of the new sporty and luxurious TSi. An entirely new second generation lineup would emerge for 2007.
The Limited sedan is well-equipped for its price, with standard items like fog lamps, a power driver's seat, power windows and locks, special gauges, cruise control, air conditioning, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter. The Limited is one of two Sebring sedans with a base price over $15,000. Sirius satellite radio has been a popular Chrysler option.
All higher level Sebring trims receive a 2.7 liter V-6 engine, which makes 200 horsepower and provides 190 pound-feet of torque. The Sebring is only available with a four-speed automatic transmission, and all models are front wheel drive. Fuel economy is a very reasonable 21/28 mpg with the V-6.
