2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid 2.5 Summary
Brand new for 2007 is a hybrid version of the mid-sized luxury sedan Nissan Altima. Aimed at competing with the Accord, the 2007 Altima Hybrid features the 2.5-liter I4 engine, rated at 158-hp. The electric motor gets an addition 40-hp. This is a full hybrid, which means it can run on either gas, electric, or a combination. Battery power is renewed through braking. Because of this, it reportedly gets 36/41 mpg.
Standard features don't disappoint either. Power windows, locks, mirrors, and a power driver's seat are all standard. Like the V6 models, ABS and traction are standard, but on the hybrid, you also get stability control. Front, side, and curtain airbags are also included. A trip computer, cruise control, Intelligent key, front and overhead consoles, eight cupholders, tire monitor, one-touch windows, and automatic climate control let you feel safe while you're saving the environment.
