2005 Volvo S40 2.4i Summary
The 2.4i has replaced the 1.9T as the entry-level S40 trim. The new 2.4 liter inline generates 168 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque, and it is paired with the S40's first manual transmission. The 2.4i will run from 0 to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds with the manual, and 8.4 seconds with the optional five-speed automatic.
The 2.4 i comes equipped with full power accessories, air conditioning, an interior air filter, cruise control, heated power mirrors, an anti-theft system, remote keyless entry and a CD player. There is no AWD option with this trim.
