1964 Pontiac GTO Reviews, Pricing & Specs

Engine is not original. This is a Pontiac 400 c.i. with a 1965 GTO Carter 4-bbl. Original car had A/C but this has been removed. Give the pedal 3 pumps and it starts right up and kicks down to around 5-600 RPM after 20 seconds. Console has original tach. 3-speed Automatic with B&M shifter. thumbnail

Auburn show in July, 2012. Front and rear bumpers were re-chromed and exterior was re-painted in original color of Cameo White. Glass is in very good condition except for the rear window that has ice scraper marks. All glass is tinted which is correct on the original build sheet from PHS. thumbnail

It is actually my father's car; however, he has in his will that the car will go to me. I am not allowed to drive it under the current insurance, but having taken many rides i can say it is quiet, smooth, and powerful with it's tri power engine.

Stock Engine Switched Stock Automatic Transmission with a 4 speed Stock Transmission. Everything is stock, Dash still has original black paint. Barely ever driven or if it is just to a local car show. One of the greatest all time muscle cars ever.

I had a 1964 GTO before I went into the Army. I loved the car…Fun to drive and fast. If I had the money and a safe place to keep it, I’d buy another one…but it would have to be like new.
