CarGurus' 1977 Chevrolet Corvette Review

Leather seats came standard in the 1977 Corvette, seeming to declare that luxury was not an option but a necessity for 'vette drivers.  Those looking to save cows while burning rubber could opt for the formerly standard cloth seats.

While it was the first year for standard leather seats, 1977 was the last year for the winged roof and straight-drop rear window that had adorned the Corvette through the C3 generation.
