2011 Cadillac CTS 3.0L Base Trim Overview

The 2011 Cadillac CTS 3.0L Base might represent the entry-level sedan in its range, but it comes loaded with standard equipment.  

As its name implies the CTS Base is propelled by a 3.0-liter V6 engine that makes 270 hp and 223 lb-ft of torque. Though admirably refined, the small V6 has to work hard to get the hefty CTS going. A standard six-speed manual transmission provides excellent control, but most buyers will likely opt for the smooth 6L50 automatic gearbox. Courtesy of its rear-drive platform, the 2011 CTS 3.0L Base possesses excellent handling dynamics and a refined ride.
