2009 Hummer H2 Adventure Trim Overview

Drivers who want to add a little "green" to the rugged 2009 Hummer H2 Adventure (to match their surroundings when off-roading) can opt for a new FlexFuel engine, which runs on E85, a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. The engine runs on ordinary gasoline as well, giving drivers a couple of options when filling up.

The standard powerplant remains a 393-horsepower, 6.2-liter Vortec V8 engine, which links to a six-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.

A number of features set the 2009 Hummer H2 Adventure apart from the Base trim, including a self-leveling air suspension system, an on-board air compressor, a brush grille guard, and a first aid/tool kit.

Other standard features for the H2 Adventure include leather-appointed seats with eight-way power adjustment for front passengers, dual-zone heating and cooling, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a Bose nine-speaker audio system with an in-dash six-disc CD changer.

The Base H2 also comes equipped with a number of features designed to improve the vehicle's safety on the road, including the StabiliTrak stability enhancement system, a traction control system, a tire pressure monitoring system, and daytime running lights.
