2009 Honda Ridgeline RTL Trim Overview

The 2009 Honda Ridgeline RTL comes equipped with a number of standard features not found on the base RT trim, including dual-zone climate control with air filtration, a multifunction steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar support, and a 160-watt, seven-speaker AM/FM audio system with an in-dash 6-CD changer and an MP3 input jack. Interior features also include a power-sliding rear cabin window, power windows and door locks, a remote entry system, and a 60/40-split rear seat with underseat storage. Standard exterior features include a dual-action tailgate, privacy glass, body-colored folding power side mirrors, and machine-finished alloy wheels. A Class III trailer hitch and trailer harness with a seven-pin connector also come standard.

The Ridgeline RTL can tow up to 5,000 pounds, thanks to its 3.5-liter, single-overhead-cam VTEC V6 engine, which generates 250 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. A heavy-duty radiator and heavy-duty transmission cooler assist in prolonged towing. The V6 engine drives a Variable Torque Management four-wheel-drive system through a five-speed automatic transmission. The Ridgeline RTL also comes equipped with a locking differential, electronic brakeforce distribution, antilock brakes, and Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control, as well as side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor.
