Thumbs Up! By Doug

Great Gas Mileage, with sporty retro appearance that's fun to toss around. So far no problems. The 2.2L ecotec is simple and easy to service and the ride is great with adequate performance. On-Star i... Read More

Overview of 2009 Chevrolet HHR LS By Michael Perkins

Chevrolet’s Heritage High Roof, or HHR, lineup starts out with the LS trim, which gets buyers an E85-friendly 2.2-liter, 155-hp inline four mated to a five-speed manual. This five-passenger, four-door, front-wheel-drive compact wagon shares much of its architecture with the Cobalt and comes with traction control and 16-inch wheels with wheel covers. Front bucket seats and a split-folding rear are covered in cloth upholstery. The front passenger seat folds flat, while the driver’s seat is height-adjustable and sits behind a tilt steering wheel. Air conditioning and cruise control are standard, as well as a cargo cover and floormats. Technology features include one year of OnStar, an AM/FM/CD/MP3 player with digital media connection and satellite radio and a theft-deterrent system. Power mirrors, windows, and locks are all standard, as well as remote keyless entry, variable-intermittent wipers, and a rear defogger. Safety features include dual front airbags, curtain side airbags, antilock brakes with anti-skid, a tire-pressure monitor, and daytime running lights.

This overview covers the LS trim only.
