2008 Suzuki Reno Base Trim Overview

This front-wheel-drive compact hatch comes well-equipped for its price. The 2008 Suzuki Reno Base features power windows, locks, and heated mirrors, front and rear intermittent wipers, a tachometer, two 12-volt power outlets, power and tilt steering, and a 4-speaker CD sound system that comes with an MP3 input jack. Rear seats split-fold 60/40, and front seat height is manually adjustable. The cargo space starts out at 8.8 cubic feet, but opens up to 45 with the rear seats down. A cargo cover is standard, as is a roof rack. There are more storage compartments in the doors and under the floor.

Riding on the Forenza's Macpherson strut front and multilink rear suspension, the 2008 Reno Base also shares the 2.7-liter DOHC inline four that delivers 127 hp and 131 ft-lbs of torque at 4,200 RPM. It is matched to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. Four-star safety features include dual front-side airbags, passenger airbag deactivation, 4-wheel disc brakes, a tire monitor for the 15-inch steel wheels with all-season tires, and halogen lamps. Options add the Convenience Package (wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, remote entry, leather trim, and an alarm), as well as a dealer-installed rear spoiler and Bluetooth.
