2005 Ford Econoline Cargo Overview

2005 Ford Econoline Cargo

The 2005 Ford Econoline Cargo Van is a sturdy, rugged van designed for commercial use. With a hauling capacity of 236.1 cubic feet (275.1 cubic feet in the Extended version), the Econoline is the classic American workhorse full-size van.

Three trims were available for the '05 Econoline Cargo: the basic E-150, as well as the tougher E-250 and E-350 Super Duty. The E-150 was offered only in the standard length, with a 138-inch wheelbase; the E-250 and E-350 Super Duty were offered in both regular and extended versions.

The 2005 Econoline Cargo van is based on Ford's popular F-Series pickup truck line, and like its truck counterparts, it offered some powerful engine options. The E-150 and E-250 came off the line with a 4.6-liter V8; drivers could upgrade to a 5.4-liter V8. The E-350 SD came standard with the 5.4-liter V8, and upgrades to a 6.0-liter turbodiesel V8 or a 6.8-liter V10 were available.
