CarGurus Overview
Chevrolet's 2002 Astro LT AWD is the all-wheel drive luxury model. It is the same as the two-wheel-drive 2002 Astro LT, except that the AWD handles better in snow or slippery conditions, has less towing capacity, and is heavier (therefore less fuel economy). A limited slip differential was standard on the 2002 Chevy Astro AWD.
2002 Chevrolet Astro LT AWD owners say they love the van's roominess, ease of use, engine power, and handling. Some complain, however, that the interior is not well designed, citing the lack of driver leg room, the noisiness, etc.
This overview covers the LT AWD trim only.
Please see our 2002 Chevrolet Astro Overview for more information.
