1985 Chevrolet Corvette Overview

Chosen by Car and Driver Magazine as America's fastest road car, the 1985 Chevrolet Corvette featured a brand-new engine. The base engine was the L98 350-cubic-inch V8, rated at 230 horsepower. Even though horsepower improved, fuel economy got better as well; a new Bosch fuel injection system made the engine more efficient than ever. This engine would remain standard for the following 7 model years.
The suspension was also softened slightly for 1985. Other than the engine and suspension, the car was very similar to the popular 1984 model, and the aerodynamic look continued to receive near-universal accolades. Some say '85 Corvettes have problems with mass air flow, though.
