Great experience

I felt like it was a bait and switch. There was an advertised price, and there was a document fee listed on the website, but when I asked for an out the door price there was a $2,500 fee for ceramic coating. I told Elvis the salesperson I was dealing with that I did not want it ceramic coated and he said that it’s an added dealer fee that can not come off. It just felt dishonest and like they were trying to add to the listed price. If the price would have been advertised $2500 higher I still would have been interested in the vehicle. But the way it was added into the purchase price on top of the advertised price did not sit well with me. I’m sure they sold the truck because it was very nice, the way the extra fees that I see as options was added was not transparent and for that reason I chose to not buy the truck.

Good overall experience from this dealership. The sale process was excellent. Not pushy and was easy to negotiate with. Financing was a breeze and explained well, nothing was pushed on us here either. I took 1 star off because when we received the vehicle after the sale it was not cleaned well. I had also negotiated the removal of a few dents that I had pointed out. After taking possession of the vehicle I noticed three more dents. I would think that they would've fixed all of the dents when going over it even though I didnt point them out. So if I could rate their detailers/cosmetic department it would be 2 stars. The buying experience was top notch though!

Once I arrived at the dealership for my scheduled test, I found the vehicle to be dirty, and without gas. Additionally, the online price was not honored as I was informed that an additional $3000 had to be added to the final cost. Then during the financing process, an additional $2K was added to the price of the car that wiped out the value of my trade-in vehicle. When we called and questioned the discrepancy we were given the runaround by the dealership staff who would not call us back to address. Later when we returned to the dealership we left in shock at how our salesman misrepresented the price of the car and how the manager, suggested I trade it in and purchase a more expensive vehicle from him. Instead of future service and repeat business, all that Arlington Toyota will receive is this horrible business review. Doubt they will care.

I received a phone call from this dealership about RAV4 Limited 2023. She stated they got one just arrived (gas model) and a hybrid (bout 2 weeks out) that I can placed a deposit. We agreed on the price, I asked if they are doing MSRP for both vehicles and she said yes. She sent over 2 invoices and we made an appointment that same day. I arrived at the dealership and specifically asked for her. They said she don’t work here, she only does internet sales. I had to sit down with another sales person and had to explain why I am here and what I’m here to see. Already wasted my time because everything was said over the phone and I was not aware I’ll be speaking to somebody else. After all that explanation, now they said the vehicle I am here to see (the gas model) is not ready. They said 1-2 hours. What am I suppose to do for 1-2 hours. They offered to show me a used RAV4 lol. The sales manager finally said, if I want the hybrid I have to pay $4995 on top of msrp. Pauly Toyota suck.
