Great dealer experience, from moment I walked in the door

I had an absolutely dreadful experience with Liberty Chevy. Not only did they make me wait for four weeks to get my car (After selling off the one i was driving), but they had the audacity to continue offering it for test drives during that time. The staff was incredibly rude and downright mean, showing a complete lack of respect for my time and patience. Save yourself the headache and frustration, and steer clear of Liberty Chevy. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later. As if the endless delays and disrespectful treatment weren't enough, the courtesy car they provided had an expired registration! (2022). Not only did they fail to deliver on their promises, but they also couldn't even bother to ensure the basic legality of the vehicle they lent me. BTW the courtesy car it was a 2015 Mazda VAN!!!! After declining the vehicle for a better looking one, all he said was "I hate ungrateful people" claiming the better looking ones are for people with "ISSUES" as though mine wasn't an issue. T

Horrible. Agreed to things they didn't follow through on. Tacked on an additional $1,000 after the papers were signed for the deal. Refused to continue with the sale and refund me the $1,000 they charged my card without my authorization. The proposal paperwork provided to my bank (as I financed directly through my bank), shows a $1,000 credit. I did not question that. I made it clear in writing from the very beginning that I will NOT be putting money down, I am NOT trading anything, I AM financing through my bank and paying in full at the time of sale. They thought they could pull a fast one on me. The sale was canceled and I finally received my refund of $1400 3 days later.

Pleasant to deal with

Horrible. I drove 2 hours round trip to a scheduled viewing of the vehicle only to sit around for an hour due to Herb Connolly double booking a viewing of the vehicle. I left highly upset and the dealer showed no empathy for my frustration. I would never recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle at Herb Connolly. Just totally disrespectful.

Very local establishment, does not like non-locals. The salesmen is unresponsive in emails, made to work with sales manager Ed. Was 100% ready to purchase a listed corvette. Ofcourse I had some questions about tires (like if i could purchase all season tires so i can drive home safely in winter), the bubbling dashboard ($3k fix at chevy with no warranty), etc. Wouldnt even take $500 or budge on price (claimed had to ask owner each time i asked most questions as a sales manager). I asked for appointments over phone to discuss the sale but could only respond to an email near closing and only answer one question out of 4 I would ask. Last indicator they didn't want to work with me is low balling me on my trade-in. I have a 2023 jeep grand cherokee summit reserve I bought for 72k in May... has 3k miles. They offered me 40k. Went to a few local dealers and they offered $56-58k. Super sad to write this review as I do feel they would be a great local dealership.
