The team was scattered only my first contact agent by a phone call knew I was coming in and he was not in the building when I arrived. Didn't know at this point in time that it had 4WD. Texted him I was coming then got stuck in Bumper to Bumper traffic for 30 min. to get 16 miles to the Dealer at 2pm. 2 lower sales offers before and 1 after I left. That's the part that didn't feel right? I said no because I don't need the 4WD for 2 trips to the beach each year and only towing kayaks and john boats. It takes this vehicle from a 5000# GVWR to an 8000# GVWR for 4WD. It was a nice truck! This is general numbers I'm using to protect the innocent. A $2000.00 mark down couldn't change my mind on ignoring the low MPG for it being 4WD a $5000.00 mark down would have. I'm 66 and with only about 10 years left to drive the extra 3000 pounds cuts deep into a now retired fixed income. Better MPG gets me more trips away from home and where I want to be now days in this Florida Sun. Gas prices/MPG?
