I was warned also about this dealership by a friend. And I read all the online comments. I should have known better. Had an appointment set up for three days in advance due to the long drive. Called about the car the day before going to see it and all of a sudden it was sold the day before. I think that they just sent this truck out to my email to lure us in. I checked on their website and it wasn't there, but when I called days before they said it was still there. Told him that we weren't coming to look at anything else. Don't think anyone really seems to care.

If I could give zero stars I would. Communication leading up to the visit was excellent. We received an appointment and a “what to expect from your visit” video. The morning of the visit, we received a text with a short video of the vehicle. When we arrived, no one was available and the sales person we had an appointment with was “too busy” to see us. The vehicle was dirty and when we got in to start the test drive, it was out of gas. A “stand in” sales person drove us to the gas station and then asked that we drop him off because he had an appointment coming. We brought the car back and waited for someone to take the keys and help us. And waited, and waited. We eventually just left. We drove over an hour for the appointment. Extremely disappointing service. No need to waste your time with this dealership.

Worse experience I’ve had at a dealer yet.vehicle I drove was unsafe and they do not honor a fair deal.company does not honor blue book value offered 4000 below. Not timely on appointment left waiting in lounge 15 minutes while they were at lunch. Vehicle tested was not ready for testing believe water pump was seized up and belt came off while turning corner lost all power to steering and brakes could have been bad if traffic was coming. Was put on hold and asked if they could call me back when I was stranded with vehicle

Bought a Ram 1500 Laramie Sport. Had to dive the vehicle to me because it was at a different location. Vehicle arrived missing the pano sunroof the sales rep insisted was on it. Claimed they would try and make it right, but really didn’t. Offered trucks that wouldn’t fit in my garage, unwanted colors and features I didn’t want. Pre-sale and during sale was fine. Post-sale is as a disaster. Disappointed with experience with this dealer b

I live in Central Missouri and bought my 2018 Chevrolet Traverse Premier, with 6,500 miles, from Van Horn Chevrolet of Plymouth, WI. This was my 1st interstate purchase of a vehicle they made it pain-free and smooth. They picked me up at the Milwaukee Airport (MKE) and shuttled me back to the dealership. We did some paperwork, and I was on my way back to MO. After putting close to 1,000 miles on it I can say I love driving it, it handles well and gets great gas mileage (even with my lead foot and Chicago traffic I got 22.2 MPG over 600 miles). It has all the option available on the Premier, even though it's a mid-size SUV, it has the feel of a larger SUV (lots of interior space), and the interior design along with technical updates lessen driver fatigue over long distances. At just over 41.5K I got a good deal. My only complaint is trivial, It would have been nice to leave with a full tank of gas rather than between three quarters half a tank. Well worth the flight up and drive home.

I ask for a few items & if they had them, for example As anyone read my email? automation is good only when you know the details & read the buyers email. 1. Do you have the window sticker ? 2. If not can I see the build sheet? 3. Does it have any service records from the previous owner? 4. Do you have the Factory books? 5. Does it have color coordinated color of keys? Please also send me a link with to the car, once you have the above information. They just wasted my time, with few emails, saying yes they have it, but never sent it & just kept asking if I am ready to buy the car. No follow up phone calls, on a $100,000 car. The visit to Van Horn was a waste of time. With the Durango on the lot for over 200 days so I thought that Van Horn would like to make a deal to sell me the Durango I was interested in but the salesman had no intention of reducing his price for the Dodge Durango. He was going to take my present vehicle in trade for free and put the vehicle up for auction, and keep the profits.The only discount the salesman offered was $1000.00 if I financed the Durango through Van Horn. The Dealer doesn't rate even one star but I'm a optimist that they may get better in the future.

Was scheduled to look at it on Saturday, when we got there, the vehicle wasn’t there. It was at a private showing. So we asked about another one, that had the same features. That one wasn’t there either. So...let’s just say that we weren’t very happy.

Van Horn was great to work with, they brought the 2 vans we were interested in from another one of their locations. One ended up being sold before we got there but they had other vans for us to look at and test drive. We ended up leasing a van through them, we didn't make it easy as we knew what we wanted our monthly payment to be but they made it happen. Thanks to Mark Sloan for all of his help, he was very knowledgeable about the Pacifica and made finding a vehicle easy.

They were disengenious about what was included in the vehicle. They did not disclose that a $400 power cord and second $300 key were not included in a $45000 deal. They then hid behind the excuse they only have ‘so much flexibility.’ I recommend that they are more clear about standard items not included in a sale, I don’t think the $700 was worth undermining their integrity over.

Will (the salesman) Accomplished What I Requested Over The Phone In A Short Period Of Time Including Photos And Info That I Had Requested Prior To My Arrival. 140 Mile Trip 1 Way. After emailing and calling with questions. Had to call again to talk w/salesperson. She turned us over to her husband, who wrote us off as non buyers and did not call back with the data we had requested. Went to their boss and let him know. He sent oddles of data stickers on units and kept in contact. Kept pushing that they deal and have service. Their idea of deal is see if there is a rebate out there. As one after another vehicle was sold, they magically kept finding others, just a little different than before. Was very close to purchase, when another dealer found a near perfect match and set up a test drive appointment, and we were going to purchase that one.

I called the dealership to confirm they still had the truck, and they did. Truck and a great salesman were waiting for me. The truck was just as described on website. The truck and dealership were spotless. I have checked out vehicles at dealerships that were not clean and test drove a vehicle that was not either. Josh, our salesman was very accommodating. He brought over a couple other vehicles to test as well, because my husband is looking for a new vehicle. The transaction to buy the truck was smooth. We had an issue with an addition to the truck that was aftermarket, and Van Horn was quick to remedy the problem. Would recommend their dealership to anyone.

They made an appointment for us to see a vehicle, sold it and then didn't call us back to cancel so we drove quite a few miles for no reason. The salesperson was apologetic as he too was unaware it was sold the day prior. Better record keeping to alert folks when a car is sold would be nice.

The dealer was quick to respond to me. The listing accurately described the conditions of the vehicle, but did not show curb rash on one of the rims. The car was not clean for the test-drive...the dealership is under construction. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Set us up on a test ride while the evaluated our van for trade. Overall impression: good dealer, comfortable, no pressure. I would recommend this dealer.

The dealer did contact me and gave me really good information about the car...the first time, but the overall experience was pretty much a waste of time. After speaking to them they jacked the price over $5000. The next day they called to talk about the car. When asked about the price change I was eventually told that they had a potential sale on the car so they bumped the price to discourage other potential CarGuru buyers from wasting their time....ummm...they just wasted my time! Just take the car offline if there’s a deal or list it as “Sale Pending”!

Getting information from the dealer was like pulling teeth. I was shopping concurrently at other dealerships, and the lack of attention and responsiveness from Van Horn became glaring as soon as I engaged with other dealerships. I was not impressed and did not feel as if the dealership had interest in selling me a vehicle. I decided very quickly to take my business to another dealer that had the singular objective of serving my needs.

The dealer responded very quickly. Answered all my questions. I was inquiring about a 2015 Hellcat. Too bad we just couldn't put a deal together. The car was gone before I got around to making my decision, I just didn't know how good of a deal they had for me.

Not the best experience. Salesman didn't really know the specs of the vehicle and the whole staff lacked warmth and were not courteous. We never could make a deal They wanted a crazy high price for the "Luxcare" package. I had purchased a vehicle from them eight years ago and had a great experience. Because of that memory I thought I would try them again, not the best experience this time.

Wouldn't trust the quality of any vehicle on the lot. There was a note in the folder that the car was in an accident. They said auction houses do that to cover themselves. ????????? Old school, " I need to talk to my manager treatment. And when the salesman could close the deal he came out to put the heat on. NEVER going back.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I was intrigued by the great pricing of their vehicles. I test drove a multiple 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokees. Upon reviewing the Carfax’s for the Jeeps, all of them were lemons that had been purchased at auction. I had a friend who is in the car sales industry look up the VINs of these vehicles and I was informed that all of these vehicles were, as he described it, "branded". Essentially the vehicles were marked as lemons and would be viewed as totaled vehicles if I attempted to resale or trade-in the vehicle. He stated that these vehicles would be worth next to nothing once purchased and my entire investment in the vehicle would be lost. When I spoke with the sales consultant at Van Horn brought to my attention. This dealership is attempting to off load a worthless product on an ignorant consumer. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

We do provide a free carfax on all vehicles on our website and fully disclose them before purchase. They come with a manufacturer warranty and we stand behind them 100%.

Avoid this dealership at all cost. Terrible customer service. Lied to me about a vehicle that I came to see. Was told it was listed as a total loss. When I called to cancel my test drive, they told me that someone had made a mistake and the car was not a total loss. When I arrived, the car was indeed listed as a total loss. Said they would make a deal for me and all the hassle of the "miscommunication." All they did was have me test drive car after car. When I picked a car they liked, they said they'd try to get it into my budget. All they did was knock $100 off a car that was significantly outside my budget. Waste of time and sleazy salesmen. Worst experience I've ever had at a dealership.

I was told the car was available and was checking into purchasing it and shipping(out of state) Then I was told it was sold the next day. The following day I received an email stating it was still available,so I said yes very much so...I wanted to buy it...I finally called and was told that the email was wrong,it was sold. I suggest that they do a physical check of the car next time before relying on the computer system which was not up to date.

Quick response, but salvage title should be revealed much sooner

Overall experience was fair. If your looking to finance through van horn Chevrolet,don't believe everything they tell you. Their finance manager told me everything was taken care of with the payoff of my trade in. 2 weeks later another car payment was taken out,and I ended up paying a overdraft fee of 35.00 because there wasn't enough money in my checking account.

The truck was sold before I was able to see it but the dealership was very helpful and prompt to answering any of my questions and concerns.

It was fine except for the fact that once we got more into talking about the vehicle the manager was very PUSHY! It was not appreciated especially when we are the ones spending lots of money for a truck.
