I live a few hours away from dealership so George Tenido was able to send me all information I needed or wanted before I made the trip to check out car. Dealership was clean and inviting when I arrived. They also had the Tahoe out and ready for me upon arrival. We got straight to the point with test driving and then to paperwork. Very easy process. Tahoe was exactly as listed, no hidden surprises. Once we handled loan part, they made sure I was happy with payment number before I left which was very nice. They didn’t pressure me to purchase extra stuff for the Tahoe, they just explained and offered what was available. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this dealership! Thank you! I love my new Tahoe so much!!!

Truck was to rough, with scratches and a dent. Had rust by the exhaust and was a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle. Never seen one that bad for that price!

This dealer is excellent. They give you three days to bring back a car with no fee. A salesman called me early in the morning the day after I expressed interest in the car on car guru. They made the process of taking it to an independent dealer easy. They held a check for five days.

Waited over 2 hours to see the car, as they could not find it. I called well in advance to make an appointment to see the car. When I finally get to see the car the dealership tacked on well over 1500.00 in additional costs (not tax) than what was advertised. Then unbeknownst to me they tell me there is no negotiating. What a waste of 3 hours.

The dealership was good about getting right back to me, had the car ready for a test drive as soon as I got there and took care of all my concerns as far as paint touch ups and dent removal once I bought the car. It was a really easy, practically stress free transaction.

Brian was very prompt with responding to my inquiry about the vehicle. Always polite and knowledgeable about their process. Their process is where the experience started to unravel. Brian stated they worked with out of state buyers all the time. However, they wouldn't entertain the option of holding the vehicle I was interested in even with a down payment. Their argument was that it wasn't fair to other potential buyers. My argument is that I'm the buyer. I have a pre-approved loan, I'm actually showing serious interest in the vehicle, I scheduled an inspection from an appraisal company as well along with stating I would definitely purchase the vehicle if the appraisal didn't find anything wrong, yet they'd rather alienate me instead of other people who haven't even shown interest yet. That just seems backwards to me. I kept pressing forward undeterred, jumping through their hoops. They wouldn't negotiate the price, wouldn't allow me to hold the vehicle with a deposit, and I even said I would waive the inspection if they would send me pictures of the undercarriage and engine bay. I got pictures of the engine bay. They refused to take the car to the rack because it was in the showroom. What did they expect when the inspection company showed up? So, the day the inspection is supposed to take place I get an email saying the vehicle was purchased at 8:30 the night before... Brian said he was sorry. That goes a long way, yea? It was a great waste of time for both him and myself. Makes me think someone at the dealership decided to buy it and my interest put them on the spot. Just a theory. My experience might be an isolated one. However, I thought it prudent to post just to warn other out of state buyers that potential customers are more important to this dealership than actual ones. Go figure.

Was contacted by Brian. He was quite passive aggressive towards me and I did not buy from here. This dealership also does not negotiate, so if you’re looking for a deal, it will be hard to find here.

Contacted them about availability, got pre approval, got a quote and drove over a day later and test drove the car and bought it on the spot. Seamless transaction, and would do business again with them in a heartbeat!

The representative that contacted me told me the vehicle I had inquired about (2006 Honda Ridgeline) had already been sold. I informed him that it was still being advertised as available. And he said, "yeah I know," as if it was purposely kept there to garner sales inquiries and mislead consumers as to Toyota Marin's actual inventory!! Then, the worst part is that they sent me 6 followup emails, each progressively more intrusive and passive aggressive than the previous, and all of them CLAIMING TO HAVE THE RIDGELINE FOR SALE! SCAM-ALERT!!

I was contacted with the explanation that the car had Extras and they would not negotiate in price. Found the same package vehicles in different colors for 3000 to 4000 less. Emailed back again a few days later, possibly negotiating. However I was buying the same car for 5000 less.

I contacted the dealership and spoke with a lady that said she was the equivalent of the used car sales manager. We discussed the price of the car and she said she would let me know if they marked the price down. The price ended up dropping and she didn't let me know. I'm an out of state buyer and the dealership told me I would have to pay CA sales tax if I drove the car off the lot. I called the State Board of Equalization and they said that could skipped if I submitted paperwork. I sent a message to the sales rep telling him this and he ignored me. I called back a few days later and another rep said a lady was coming in that evening to buy the car I was inquiring about. He said he didn't know if it would go through and he would call me in 90 minutes to let me know. Over one week later and still no phone call. Don't hold your breathe with this company. The car sold, but I am glad I didn't end up supporting this dealership. ANY company can say they offer great service. Not many do. This one doesn't. They are all talk.

Marin Toyota cars are a little pricey but the staff is great. Brooke was really nice too. I'm still haven't made a decision about the car I saw, because of the high price.

Set up a time and date to check out my car and after driving 2 hours I arrived and had to wait 10 minutes for the sales rep. We came in this evening, very disappointed though. I called ahead, about an hour before we showed up to confirm the vehicle we were interested in was there and I was told by **** that it was indeed there... I was even put me on hold to check all systems that they had it on the lot and confirmed it wa there. When we arrive I was told that it had been sold about 3 hours before we arrived. I appreciate the time ***** took to show us a different frontier, but it wasn't the one we were initially interested in. Came home very annoyed that we wasted our money on a: babysitter, bridge ($10) and gas after confirming we were going up to San Rafael specifically for a car that wasn't even there. We live 45mins away in SF, so 1.5hour round trip drive for nothing. It is worth noting that we ended our test drive of a different vehicle, same model as the one we were interested in, pretty much as soon as we left the lot because the GM or someone had texted me during the test drive that the original vehicle we wanted was indeed there, I even texted him back and he confirmed. So we literally turned around, pulled up expecting to see the car but the guy showing us around went inside and confirmed for the SECOND time that it was not there. I'm scratching my head like, did this really just happen? We hired a babysitter and crossed the bridge for a car we were told was there wasn't and then ended a test drive because we thought they made a mistake and really did have it, only to find they really really actually don't. I know there's hard workers and it's difficult, but the lack of communication between staff and inventory seems like it should be a priority, and maybe keep one sales person to one person to avoid unnecessary texts and calls and emails... Like when I'm on the middle of a test drive with another salesman... Won't buy a car from here

Car I went to see had wrong milage listed. CAR I bought cost more , found speedometer not working GOING to dealer today to report defect.

Terry Allen got back to me through e-mail. I like this dealer the most. I used to live in Marin, bought my 2006 XC90 Volvo in San Rafael less than a year ago. I would love to trade it in against new purchase but know better. I know I can get more if I sell it on my own.

Brian was absolutely amazing to work with. He was very responsive and helpful. He helped us get the best interest rate possible on our loan even though we came to him with financing figured out. He seemed to truly care about his customer first and foremost. He even had the vehicle delivered to my home so I wouldn't have to drive it from San Rafael to San Jose. I highly recommend Toyota Marin. If I ever need another car I will be working directly with them even though they are 70 miles away. We never felt any of the typical car salesman pressure, and we were able to get exactly what we wanted at a great deal. These guys truly are great. Thanks!

Horrible experience. I'm 50 years old and I've bought a lot of cars in my life. This dealership was far and away the WORST car buying experience I've ever had. Complete jerks from salespeople to management. AVOID!
