I saw the vehicle on GARGURUS, I Purchased a 2011 Me recedes-Benz CL550 4Matic with 43806 miles from Platinum Autohaus on 07/23/2019, Neil was the sales person. I looked the vehicle over and thought everything was OK. Driving the vehicle back to Roseville, CA from Rodondo Beach, CA about 400 miles my daughter attempted to lower the Head Rest and found that the Head Rest Button had been broken off and pushed back into position. With only 550 additional miles put on the vehicle it would not start. I had the vehicle Towed to my servicing garage on Saturday, 07/27/2019 only four days after the purchase. The servicing garage informs me that the starter and the alternator are burned out and that the battery needs to be replaced. The costs of the needed repairers are $3,500.00. The rear Sun shade does not work and cost $4,000.00 to replace. If you are going to purchase a vehicle from them please make sure you have it thoroughly and completely inspected by the dealership.

In the 22 plus years we have been in business, we have never heard of a battery, starter and alternator go bad simultaneously.  It's puzzling to us how your mechanic would replace the battery considering the battery was brand new in your car.  We believe your mechanic upsold you.  We did agree upon an adjustment regarding the window shade.  We did offer you an extended warranty at the point of sale which you declined to purchase because you were obtaining one from your own bank/credit union.  With that being said, we have been in talks with you to come to a resolution.  You did ask for a parti

My feeling is that customer service is nonexistent and it permeates the organization. Lack of followup, inability to return phone calls, emails, unwillingness to transact business. My sense of things is they lack any real interest in selling you a car. To me they seem disingenuous, self serving and overtly lazy. I have no idea what they care about other than themselves and I would recommend against doing business at this location based on my experience with them,

I had been shopping for a Cayenne on CarGurus and found a '14 Diesel at Platinum Auto Haus. I wound up buying the car, and the whole process was so easy and seamless. The whole crew was very knowledgeable, and incredibly low pressure. They have a large selection of top end cars, and I would highly recommend them!

Sometimes responses are quick. Other times takes a few calls, emails and text messages. I almost purchased a vehicle from them but unfortunately not having the title in hand or a print out of it processing the deal fell through. They came up with a great resolution but was too late. I purchased the same car elsewhere.

Hi Carlos, you make it seem like we're selling cars without titles here.  The titles in California are all electronic.  The car you were interested in purchasing was a car we had just recently taken on trade.  The car was paid off and legally ours.  We were waiting on the state of California to send us the title.  Your credit union asked for us to register the car so they can send us a check.  This is something we do on a regular basis for credit unions that make this request.  For our local customers, they don't have to wait on this process before taking possession of their newly purchased ca

I live quite a distance away so I had them pull my credit to start the process over the phone. After that initial conversation I had to call them, no less than 10 times. Received no return calls, and now the car is sold which no one has taken the time to share with me. This situation cost me an inquiry and wasted days of my time. Will never shop this dealer again.

I spoke Alex (co-owner) numerous times and he did make the effort to research financing for me . Their ad online suggests they work with people with credit challenges (as I am "credit challenged"). However, after arriving on the BUS (I traveled from Long Beach to Redondo Beach) to see and check out the 2002 Lexus SC430 (egyptian sand pearl w/ camel) I met Alex & his co- owner Tony (both were helpful at the time, but I don't believe they thought I was seriously interested, but I absolutely loved it! I told him that day (Sat) I would have financing or have it purchased by Monday. I called and left a message with Miguel on Sunday morning to have Alex call me because Alex wasn't in yet BUT Alex sold it that same Sunday afternoon!! I really would have appreciated a phone call BEFORE he sold it :( ...Debra P.
